Yes I’m a big fan of Kung Fu movies. Can you believe this?
Of course I love the panda in Kung Fu Panda and who can not love Owen Wilson in Shanghai Noon and Jackie Chan in that and Rush Hour. Even Keanu has a bit of Kung Fu action going on in the Matrix. All cute guys.
Ok, I didn’t say I was a fan of great Kung Fu movies. Sheesh.
Anyway, I’m terribly excited about this newest version of WordPress. And Yeah, I think …
Copying from Evernote or MS Word no longer adds a bunch of crap coding to your page! Woohoo! I sometimes spend hours removing this coding from client’s posts. Big PITA. But all that crap coding causes pages to load slowly. So this is a huge upgrade to me.
Inserting Galleries is now a visual affair! No more blue placeholder box!
You can see your gallery as you add it.

You can now drag and drop photos to upload them. Dragging and dropping photos across other applications has become such a habit for me that many times I’ve done it in WordPress just to find that I’m placing the photo not uploading it which is a bad thing. Now I can drag a photo from my desktop into the post editing box and the upload will begin and give me the regular alignment and size options as before. It’s a quicker, smarter way to work. It shaves seconds off production time but those seconds add up!
